Listed on this page are t206 baseball cards from old baseball card collections.  These cards contain the 1909 tobacco baseball card - T206 Honus Wagner 1909 baseball card that is the most valuable one in the world.  That card in good condition routinely gets a high price in auctions, seemingly higher and higher all of the time.  It is an unbelievable card and for many it is the best card in the world.  There are also cards in these variety of Ty Cobb, Lou Gehrig, Walter Johnson and many others.

Here is a bit about these baseball cards.  They orginally were sold in packages of tobacco and/or cigarettes and they came in the package along with them.  I still have seen unopened packs of tobacco cards and they are pretty neat to see if you can find them.  They are small cards, mini sized and Topps pays tribute to them with T206 cards in modern card series.  The best way to purchase these cards is to get graded versions of them.  SGC grades these cards, and it is a great investment to own some of the graded cards I would say.  These cards were around long before even 1952 Topps cards were issued, and these cards in top condition can fetch super premium prices.  PSA also grades these cards as well.

Here are some cards I notice from the sets and years of these rare baseball cards:

1910 T206 350 Sov. NY Giants Donlin & Seymour

1910 T206 350 Sweet Cap. HOF hurler Rube Waddell - VG - these Sweet Caporal cards are another valuable part of the tobaccco cards.

1911 T206 Wabash George Mullin #340 Detroit

T206 Ira Thomas - Philadelphia - Piedmont

1909-11 T206 Cy Young Portrait - wow! this is an awesome card if you can find it at a great price

1909 T206 Billy Campbell Piedmont 350

1909 T206 Bobby Byrne St Louis Piedmont 350

1910 T206 Sweet Cap. 350 HOFer"Iron Man" McGinnity

You can get Topps T206 baseball cards in recent years that are affordable, and/or there are also t206 cards that are more affordable than any of the names mentioned above such as Honus Wagner, Ty Cobb, Lou Gehrig, Babe Ruth, Joe DiMaggio, etc.

In conclusion, this is a big time group of cards.  It is not just one year of cards either, though the 1909 is the most famous.  There are cards from this series, from Leaf and then Bowman and Topps came along in the 1950's.  These are some of the best vintage cards in existence and you can find some listed below currently for sale on Ebay that can give you a great Christmas present for the holidays.
