Hoops Olympic basketball cards from 1991-1992 include cards of all of the players from the 1992 Dream Team, called "The Greatest Team Ever Assembled" and that is precisely what most basketball fans think of when they think of that team. It was loaded with talent including Michael Jordan, David Robinson, Magic Johnson, Patrick Ewing, John Stockton, Isiah Thomas, Larry Bird, and so many others. It was made up of all superstars, and they were the best players in the game at the time.

This year's cards are great, and I will be providing an article summary as well as a pictorial overview of the 1992 Hoops Olympic basketball card subset here. Please join the home page of this community by clicking the banner above - My Baseball Card Space as it is free and you can interact with over 300 members. The subset is within the regular set of 1991-92 Hoops and is headlined by a Michael Jordan card, as well as Larry Bird and Magic Johnson.
The card that is pictured below is the 1991-92 Hoops USA Basketball card of Michael Jordan #579. This is a nice card, and it has a great book value. The card is available in packs of 1991-92 Hoops Basketball series two cards, which include other superstars and rookies as well.
Here is a listing of some of the other great cards in the set from the other members of the Dream Team. Magic Johnson #578 is the Dream Team card of him in the set, and Larry Bird #576 is the card of his. The Olympic subset contains right around 20 cards or so, with many being listed in the price guide obviously. David Robinson has a card in here too, #583. They are all numbered closely because the subset is numbered together toward the latter part of the set. John Stockton is card #584. This set is still very affordable and is recommended for your basketball card collection. It is loaded with current and future hall of famers.
As we get set to prepare for the Olympic basketball team fielded in the 2012 London Summer Olympics, who will be the next great player to make a name for themself in the Games? Time will tell that, as well as if any other team will be compared to the original Dream Team.
