Dominique Wilkins rookie cards are in the 1983-84 Star Company Basketball set, and in the 1986-87 Fleer Basketball card set as the Star card is considered an XRC and the Fleer card is considered a rookie. Wilkins was a leading member of the Atlanta Hawks NBA basketball club in the 1980's. He stormed into the league as a prolific scorer and slam dunk champion early in the 1980's, and lead the team to Eastern Conference playoff berths and battles against the Chicago Bulls and Michael Jordan. Dominique Wilkins is a future hall of famer and should be inducted soon, as Jordan will be in 2009. A great addition to your NBA basketball card collection is a Dominique Wilkins rookie.
