At the forum of our web site, which is available at www.mybaseballcardspace.info/forums there are many in-depth articles and posts relating to some of the most valuable and expensive and best baseball cards around including the 1950's Topps baseball cards and Donruss baseball cards, as well as autographs and rookies of today's best players such as Alex Rodriguez, Albert Pujols, Derek Jeter, and many more. You will also find updated listings categorized to many specific players, sets, years, and types of cards, and you also will find a general overview of the most popular items at any given time. To start here, there are unopened wax boxes listed in detail along with more product specific pages at http://www.mybaseballcardspace.info/wax_box
Topps first produced baseball cards in 1952 and that set is famous for the very rare Mickey Mantle high number card. Donruss and Fleer both entered the Major League Baseball card market in 1981. Upper Deck's first baseball card set was in 1989. After these companies, several others entered in the 1990's, and Upper Deck has since purchased Fleer and Donruss recently was purchased by Panini, who previously has made collectible stickers of baseball players. There are many other brands within these such as Skybox.
A wax box can span many different years, sports and types of cards. Unopened wax boxes from Topps baseball cards are very famous and go back many years to the 1950's and before. The older unopened wax material is still available for sale, and there is a large selection on Ebay. Many links on this page have Ebay auction links on them, and there is a banner below that can help you get right to Ebay to get outstanding prices on baseball and sports cards, which in my opinion is the best possible way to purchase the collectibles.
The Beckett baseball card and other sports card magazines can provide you with pricing information as to how much money your sports cards and baseball cards are worth. Alternately or in addition to that, you can also receive up to the second pricing information on Ebay by using the completed auction pricing information as soon as you are a member, as it will list the price that an auction sold for, which is very helpful in determining the actual value of the cards. For investment purposes, determining the current value is imperative as you will be able to know exactly the cards' value now, and that will help you determine if the risk is worthwhile as you try to predict the future value of the card or cards in question.
Ebay is great for selling your sports card collection and it has proven to be a great asset to the hobby. If you want to sell your baseball cards, it is very easy and can bring you in top dollar for your cards quickly. The first thing to do is get an idea as to how much your cards are worth. Then, scan pictures or take digital camera photos of your cards. Thirdly, list your cards on ebay after you have a seller account. Finally, when your auctions end, you bill the buyer and collect the money and securely ship items to your buyers.
Collecting baseball cards has been my hobby for many years, and the collectibles are great. If you are just starting a collection, you have picked a great hobby. Storing your cards is important, because value is based on condition. You might have a great card, but if it is in poor condition, it will be worth much less than a card in mint or near mint condition is. Please take a moment to browse this site, and if you have questions, simply join the community and ask away as there are many baseball card collectors here.

A Topps Factory Set of complete baseball cards and sports cards is a great investment and has been around for many years. It is great to have in your collection because it contains all of the cards in the set for that particular year. Topps is the most famous baseball card company and has been making baseball cards since the 1952 series with Mickey Mantle.
