Autographed sports cards were first produced in the 1990's from the major sports card manufacturers including Donruss, Fleer, Upper Deck, Topps, and then in the 2000's to include Panini. Some of the famous autographed sports cards include game worn jersey cards autographed as well, from both rookies and hall of famers as well as from run of the mill players.

Starting with the picture on the left, that is a 2009 Leaf Rookies and Stars Jumbo rookie year game worn jersey patch football card of Hakeem Nicks.  Next, is a 2004-05 Skybox Autographics Master Collection triple jersey/patch autographed card of Stephon Marbury from when he was on the New York Knicks.  That is a great card and there is only one of those cards in each case (Master Collection cards).  Next, is a 4 color rookie patch autograph of Josh Smith from 2004-05 Autographs, well not quite a rookie card but it is a rookie year insert card from the Future Signs set.  Finally, there is a Topps Triple Threads 6 game worn jersey card including hall of famer Nolan Ryan of the Houston Astros.  Current superstar Hunter Pence is also on there.

These autographs and game worn jerseys I picked for this page are ones I have pictured on the home page, and they are all certified authentic by the sports card manufacturer that produced each one of them.
