Included on this page are some of my favorite autographed rookie cards from basketball and football cards.  These are certified authentic by the major card manufacturers so that there is no confusion as to authenticity.  This list is based on my personal favorites and which ones I think have great value and upside potential.

Any 2003-04 certified autographed rookie cards of Dwayne Wade, Lebron James and Carmelo Anthony are great rookies.  All three of them are in Ultimate Collection basketball from 03-04 as Lebron James had an exclusive contract with Upper Deck that year to sign autographs.  While they are a bit valuable, they hold great potential for future value should they continue to perform as well as they have.  A gold medal in Beijing has helped them to cement their position among basketball's elite and greatness within basketball history.

The 2000 SP Authentic Football card set as a Tom Brady rookie autograph, #118 in the set.  It books at $800 in this Beckett Plus I am looking at and it may even book for more than that now, but it is an awesome card regardless.  2001 SP Authentic has a jersey rookie of Ladainian Tomlinson  that is great for his rookie card.  2003 Ultimate Collection has rc autos of Carson Palmer and Larry Johnson.  These are some of my favorite autographed rookies.
